Financial Aid Details

Providing high quality and fun camping experiences to all young people regardless of the ability to pay established fees is very important to us.  Our fees are established based the cost of what is needed to have highly qualified staff on duty, serve great meals, have terrific facilities and equipment available and give our campers the best possible experience.  We know and understand that there may be circumstances or barriers that make attending camp difficult for some families without some sort of assistance.   We do everything we can to help address any circumstances and eliminate any barriers by offering discounts, payment plans, hosting fundraisers and providing financial assistance to those who may need it. Please see details regarding our discounts and scholarship program below.

Forms Financial Aid offered

Payment Plan
  • At registration parents either:
    • Pay in-full
    • Pay the $25 non-refundable deposit for each child registered, and the remaining balance will be set up in a payment plan.
  • If you choose to pay the deposit, a monthly payment plan will be set up for the remaining balance. 
    • The account balance will be divided evenly over the number of months left between then and the start of your camp session. 
    • Payments will be processed on the 1st, 15th or 30th of each month until the balance is paid in full.  You choose which date you would like to have your payment processed. 
    • You will be able to see the dates and amounts of each before you choose and they can also be found in the finance area of your online account after registration is completed.
  • You are always welcome to make extra payments or pay of the balance early if you choose.
    • You will NEVER be charged more than what the balance of your account is.
    • Scheduled payments will not process if you have a $0 balance or they will only process what the balance is.    
  • We are happy to work with families to be sure campers can attend camp.

Discounts

We offer a variety of discounts.  Details for those discounts are listed on the registration pages of each week of camp.  
  • ​Discounts cannot be used to pay for camp store or add-on items.
  • Discounts can not be redeemed for cash. 
  • Discount can not be used with Financial aide/scholarships.
  • ​Discounts must be applied at the time of registration and will not be applied retroactively. 
  • ​Campers are eligible for up to $75 in discounts for their first week and $50 for any additional weeks.

Fundraisers and other "like Cash" opporunities
  • Gift Certificates
    • Gift certificates make great gifts.  They can be purchased online or through our office.  After purchase you will receive a Gift Certificate Code.  The code can be applied during check out of online registration  Click here to buy a gift certificate
  • ​Camp Sponsored Fundraisers
    • Wreath/poinsettia - Usually in Nov/Dec.
    • Spring Flower - Usually around Mothers Day.
    • These funds are earned when a family or camper participates in our Fundraisers.  Funds can be used for summer or winter camp, but must be used within one years time. These funds can be applied with a code we send you or we can internally apply them. If you would like to participate in a fundraiser, please email us!
  • Service Incentives
    • Earned by participating in camp service activities.  After participating, you will receive verification of your service.  At the time of registration, the paper verification(s) needs to be sent to our office so we can verify them and send you a code or apply them internally.

​Like Cash Details
  • These items are earned or awarded.
  • They are applied like cash and can be used to pay for tuition as well as camp store items.
  • These items can be used with discounts.
  • This items do not have redeemable cash value. ​
  • There is no limit on the amount of "like-Cash" items that can be earned.

FInancial Aid/Scholarships
  • Who can receive financial aid?
    • ​​Anyone and everyone can apply!
  • How do I apply?
    • As you register your camper for a session, you will be asked if you would like to apply for financial aid.  If you would like to receive financial aid, you will complete an application as part of the regsitration process.   
    • IMPORTANT - you have to fully register your camper for a session to be considered for financial aid
  • What information will I need to provide when applying?
    • Amount of assistance your family is requesting....25%, 50% or 75%
      • Scholarship funds are limited and we want to help as many children as possible attend camp. With this in mind, we ask each family to please pay as much as you can
    • Your total family gross income
      • Verification of your gross family income may be requested. We will notify you if we need this verification. If verification is required you will be asked to provide a copy of the summery page of your most recent income tax return, check stubs, or other means of verification
    • Number of individuals living in your home
    • Reason why assistance is needed
  • Do I have to register for a session before I know if I will receive financial aid?
    • Yes
    • Your financial aid application can not be reviewed without a paid registration
    • A $25 non-refundable deposit is due with registration
    • After your financial aid eligibility has been determined you will be notified of remaining balance 
  • What does registering for a session entail?
    • Choose the session your kiddo would like to attend and click the "Register" button on that sessions description page
    • Log into your online account or creating an account
    • Follow the prompts and provide all of the requested information and complete all of the forms
    • At check out, review the registration information by clicking the "+" button next to the session to be sure everything is correct
    • Click, "Proceed to Payment"
    • Select "Payment Plan"
      • This selection will set things up for you to pay the $25 non-refundable deposit immediately and create a monthly payment plan for the balance 
    • Choose the payment plan you would like to use
      • Your choices are 1st of the month, 15th of the month or 30th of the month
      • The dates and amounts will be listed for your review
      • Please be sure to take note of the payment dates so you know when they will be processed on your account
      • Your payment plan will be set up as if you are not receiving financial aid
      • We will notify you as soon as we process your application and let you know what the financial aid you are eligible for
      • After you accept the financial aid, we will update your payments to the correct amounts
    • Click "Next"
    • Enter or choose your payment information
    • Click "Submit payment"
    • Check your email for a confirmation email
      • If you do not have a confirmation email, you either haven't finished registration or the email address you entered is incorrect   
  • How much assistance can our family receive?
    • We distribute assistance at 25%, 50% or 75% of the cost of a session for camp
    • The amount distributed is determined by financial need
    • Each application is reviewed to determine what level of scholarship each applicant qualifies for
    • Each child can receive a scholarship for one week each summer
  • Can Scholarships be used with discounts?
    • No
  • Can multiple youths from the same family get a scholarship?
    • Yes! Our scholarships cover one week of camp for each camper in the family
  • Can I use the scholarship for multiple weeks of Camp?
    • No, scholarships cover one week of camp for each camper in the family. If your camper would like to attend a second week of camp, you are responsible for that cost
  • What if my camper gets sick and is not able to come to Camp?
    • If your camper becomes sick we will try to find another week that works for your family to use the scholarship, upon availability
  • What are my obligations if I accept financial aid?
    • Our only requests are...
      • most importantly you help your child get excited for camp
      • and secondly, you have them complete a thank you letter after their camp experience.  This letter should be addressed to "Camp Supporters" and explain their experience at camp.  We will share these letters with the folks who have been so kind to donate to our scholarship fund and make it possible for us to help kiddos attend camp!
