C.I.T. Program
Counselor In Training Program

Are you a little too young to work at camp, but a little to old to attend camp?  Do you want to continue to enjoy the fun and excitement that camp has to offer?
We have a program just for you.  When you are part of 4-H Camp Kidwell's C.I.T. Program you get to be part of our amazing staff, gain valuable experience,
train to become a super counselor, and most importantly enjoy the fun and excitement of camp.  Each C.I.T. will spend a minimum of three weeks volunteering.

What do C.I.T.'s do?
C.I.T.s main focus is two fold, first and foremost, they gain valuable experience and training to become our counselors of the future.  Each C.I.T. is paired with a
counselor to learn from.  This job shadowing program ranges from living in the cabin with the counselor and campers and  sharing meals with the cabin group to
assisting in activities.  The second and most time consuming part of the program is helping in the kitchen helping to prepare, set up serve and clean up meals.
Each C.I.T. will work in the kitchen for two meals a day, washing dishes, setting tables, serving food, and cleaning up.

Becoming a C.I.T.
